A young community garden located within the Blacktown Showground precinct. Everyone is welcome to join the community garden.

What's it all about?

The Showground Community Garden is a young community garden, where produce is cared for and shared by all the gardeners. The garden is wheelchair friendly, with raised beds as well as ground level garden beds. Gardeners meet on Tuesday mornings 9 am to 11.30 am, and alternate Saturday and Sunday mornings 8.30 am to 11.30 am. Morning tea after the gardening is a relaxing catch up time with other gardeners.

New gardeners are always welcome and there is no need to be an experienced gardener. If you would like to join the community garden, please ring Council on 9839 6055.
